A Perfume for Every Indian Season: Summer, Monsoon, Winter and Festive

Most perfume advice is written for European weather: four mild seasons and dry air. India is different. A Delhi summer, a Mumbai monsoon and a Lucknow winter wedding call for different fragrances. Here's how to match scent to season, with picks from the Khuloud range.

Summer (April–June): fresh, bright, light on the skin

In dry heat, heavy perfume feels loud. Look for citrus, green and aromatic notes, and spray less than you would in winter.
